St. Patrick’s Day is usually associated with green beer, but there are a lot of great cocktails you’d rather drink the greenest day of the year, 5 of which I’m going to make: Irish Maid, Green Mimosa, Irish Buck, Good Cork and Midori Illusion.

Ingredients

Irish Maid

  • 2 slices of Cucumber
  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Irish whiskey
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Elderflower liqueur
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. / 22 ml Simple syrup
  • Garnish with a couple of Cucumber slices
  • Old Fashioned glass with a big ice ball

Good Cork

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Mezcal
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Benedictine liqueur
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Garnish with and Apple slice
  • Chilled cocktail glass

Midori Illusion

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml Melon Liqueur
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Triple Sec
  • ½ oz. / 15 ml Vodka
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Lemon juice
  • 1 oz. / 30 ml Pineapple juice
  • Garnish with a Pineapple wedge and a Maraschino cherry
  • Highball glass with ice

Irish Buck

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml Irish whiskey
  • ¼ oz. / 7 ml Lime juice
  • 2-3 oz. / 60-90 ml Ginger ale
  • Garnish with a Lime wheel
  • Highball glass with ice

St. Patrick’s Day Mimosa

  • ⅓ part Orange juice
  • A splash of Blue Curacao
  • Top up with Dry Sparkling wine
